The services offered constitute psychological counseling and coaching, not psychotherapy in the clinical sense. They are not suitable for the treatment of serious mental disorders.

3. Contract Formation

A contract is formed when the Client books a session through our website, by email, or telephone, and the Provider confirms the booking. The confirmation creates a binding agreement for the booked service.

4. Prices and Payment

4.1 Pricing

Current prices are displayed on our website. All prices include the applicable VAT (20%).

4.2 Payment Terms

  • Single sessions: Payment is due before the session

  • Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, PayPal

4.3 Package Validity

Unused sessions expire after the validity period and are non-refundable.

5. Appointments and Cancellation

5.1 Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled by mutual agreement. The Provider will send confirmation and connection details before each session.

5.2 Cancellation Policy

  • More than 48 hours notice: Free cancellation or rescheduling
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% of the session fee is due
  • Less than 24 hours or no-show: Full session fee is due

5.3 Provider Cancellation

If the Provider must cancel a session, the Client will be offered an alternative appointment at no additional cost, or a full refund for that session.

6. Confidentiality

The Provider is bound by professional confidentiality. All information shared during sessions is strictly confidential. Exceptions apply only in cases required by law, such as imminent danger to the Client or others.

7. Online Sessions

7.1 Technical Requirements

The Client is responsible for:

  • A stable internet connection
  • A device with camera and microphone
  • A quiet, private environment for the session

7.2 Technical Issues

If technical problems prevent the session from taking place and cannot be resolved within 15 minutes, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Provider's services constitute professional counseling and coaching. They do not replace medical or psychiatric treatment. The Client is responsible for seeking appropriate medical care if needed.

The Provider is not liable for:

  • Outcomes of decisions made by the Client based on counseling
  • Technical issues beyond the Provider's control
  • Indirect or consequential damages

9. Right of Withdrawal

For contracts concluded online, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law. The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded.

To withdraw, send a clear statement (e.g., by email) to: pfoertner.p@hallopsychologe.eu

Important: If services have already been provided (e.g., a session has taken place), the withdrawal right expires for those services.

For more details, see our Cancellation Policy.

10. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws (GDPR).

11. Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

We are not obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

12. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of the Client's country of residence may also apply.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

The Provider reserves the right to modify these terms. Changes will be communicated to existing clients and published on the website. Continued use of services after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
